engine paint

The colour of the enigne had nothing to do with the colour of the car as
they were all painted the same colours. Just ask any owner of a 1960's
hemi (orange) inside the engine bay of his purple Road Runnr

The valve covers would have been the same as the engine while the air
cleaner usually was black. Some of the high performance engfines (Golden
Commando, D-500) with their multi-air cleaner arrangement, were different,
but the basic engine layout was the block, water pump, valve covers, intake
manufold, etc. all the same colour ith the single air cleaner done in black.

Is this the same color for a pink '59 with a 413? I somehow can't believe
that a green engine would go into a pink car. Would the valve covers and
air cleaner also be the same color as the engine?
